AURA se grabó en una sola toma el día del eclipse solar anular de 2023 (14 de octubre de 2023), y se ha dividido en cinco secciones para facilitar la distribución y la escucha.

AURA was recorded in a single take on the day of the 2023 annular solar eclipse (Oct. 14, 2023), it has been divided into five sections for ease of distribution and listening.

Instrucciones para la escucha Listening instructions

De la misma manera que la observación de un eclipse requiere de ciertas precauciones, la escucha de AURA también las requiere. Mientras que el eclipse debe observarse cubriendo nuestros ojos con anteojeras especiales, AURA debe escucharse sin anteojera ideológica alguna. El primer paso para su escucha es apagar el celular, o extraviarlo, lejos del lugar de escucha. Luego, tome sus auriculares, colóqueselos, el izquierdo primero, después el derecho. Una vez auricularizado, respire profundo por 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, contenga el aire por 1, 2, y exhale por 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Repita 1 a 3 veces. A la voz de ¡aura!, presione play. Ahora su tarea es OÍR, demorarse en la escucha, perderse en el laberinto sonoro hasta volver a encontrarse en el silencio.

In the same way that observing an eclipse requires certain precautions, listening to AURA also requires them. While the eclipse must be observed by covering our eyes with special blinders, AURA must be listened to without any ideological blinders. The first step to listening is to turn off the cell phone, or lose it, away from the listening place. Then, take your headphones, put them on, the left one first, then the right one. Once headphonized, take a deep breath for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, hold for 1, 2, and exhale for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Repeat 1 to 3 times. At the voice of aura!, press play. Now your task is to HEAR, to dawdle in the audition, to get lost in the sound labyrinth until you find yourself again in silence.
